AcuSolve™ is a leading general-purpose finite element-based Computational Fluid
Dynamics (CFD) flow solver with superior robustness, speed, and accuracy.
AcuSolve can be used by designers and research engineers with all levels of
expertise, either as a standalone product or seamlessly integrated into a
powerful design and analysis application. With AcuSolve, users can quickly
obtain quality solutions without iterating on solution procedures or worrying
about mesh quality or topology. The primary role of the CFD Application
Specialist is to provide technical expertise in support of the development and
use of AcuSolve.
Duties
• Working with the program management/development teams to evaluate new
CFD technologies
• Generating best practices and expertise for using new features of the
software
• Providing second level support to both internal and external users of
AcuSolve
• Exploring new applications for the software among industry
• Develop marketing material, documentation, webinars, and other material
for the means of educating internal and externals users about the capabilities
of AcuSolve
• Perform validation studies of new and existing features of AcuSolve
• Provides guidance, leadership, or training to other associates
Requirements
• Master’s Degree or
• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 3 years applicable work experience.
• Working knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics and mesh generation
• Solid understanding of fluid mechanics/flow physics
• Experience with CAD modeling software
• Strong communication skills
• Established computer skills using Linux and Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with high performance computing environments and scientific
programming
• U.S. Citizenship highly preferred
