MMI Engineering is a rapidly developing company providing Scientific, 
Engineering, Safety & Risk Management consultancy services to clients across a 
wide range of industry sectors.  We need committed, high quality, scientists

We use CFD to support our engineering projects in safety assessment and hazard 
mitigation, providing services to the Oil & Gas, Water, Renewables, 
Environmental Nuclear and Defence industries. 

We are seeking a graduate or post graduate engineer who has a keen interest in 
analysing processes involving fluid dynamics, multiphase flows and heat 
transfer. 

Position Availability:  April/May 2013

Duties:

•	Support to MMI clients in the form of CFD model calculations, 
hand/spreadsheet calculations, interpretation of results, preparation of 
presentations and technical reports.

Requirements: 

•	An engineering degree (BEng, MEng or PhD) with at least a 2.1 at under
 graduate level.
•	A good understanding of fluid dynamics.
•	Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
•	Good knowledge of using office software tools such as Microsoft 
Word/Excel.
•	Experience in any of the following would be beneficial but not 
essential: C/Perl/Java/Fortran/Matlab
•	Experience of using CAD Packages, Ansys Fluent or CFX would also be 
beneficial but not essential.
