The Department of Engineering at the University of Leicester is seeking to 
appoint an Early Stage Marie Curie Fellow in Computational Aeroacoustics to 
model by Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings acoustic analogy the shock-associated jet 
noise from aircraft at cruise. Preference will be given to applicants who have 
experience of developing computational fluid dynamic open-source codes or 
related topics. You will be expected to enrol as PhD student, join the European 
Integrated Training Network AeroTraNet 2 and will take part to funded 
secondments and student exchanges in Belgium, France, and Italy, of typically 3 
to 6 months.
