Among others anthropogenic climate change simulations will be investigated. The initial term for this position is from August 1, 2013, to September 30, 2015. Application for further 3 years funding is intended. Ref. 2013-08: Within the cluster of excellence CLISAP (http://www.klimacampus.de/clisap.html) the effect of anthropogenic climate change on the Arctic shall be investigated with a regional coupled climate model consisting of an ocean-sea ice model and a regional atmospheric model. Our goal is a better understanding of the dynamics and interaction between ocean, sea ice, at-mosphere and land. This position is available starting November 1, 2013, and is limited to Octo-ber 31, 2015. Successful candidates will perform and analyze experiments with a complex model system. They will work closely together with other members the ocean physics group of the MPI-M (http://www.mpimet.mpg.de/en/science/the-ocean-in-the-earth-system/scientific-working-groups/ ocean-physics.html).
