Two research scholarships (PhD/Post-doc) for the project “Boiling of multicomponent mixtures in confined 
geometries” are available at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Department of Energy 
and Process Engineering.
 
The PhD candidate is expected to hold a master degree either in (applied) physics, mechanical, nuclear or 
aeronautical engineering, or in (applied) mathematics. The Post-doc candidate is expected to hold a PhD. 
degree within a discipline relevant to the project and relevant research experience in the area related to 
this position. The candidates should have a strong background in fluid mechanics, numerical methods and 
scientific computing. Experience in modeling and/or experimental work on two-phase flows and boiling 
heat transfer is not required but will be considered advantageous for this position.
