We are looking for research scientists working on marine offshore R&D in the
Fluid Dynamics Department at the Institute of High Performance Computing, a
government research institute in Singapore.

The researcher is required to work on following areas:
− to conduct CFD modeling for complex geometry and complex flows;
− to develop proper modeling approaches for various offshore applications;
− to model multi-body hydrodynamics;
− to simulate multi-physics phenomena and fluid structure interaction problems;
− to model free surface and random, strong nonlinear waves;
− to work closely with industry.

The required qualifications are:
− PhD in engineering (mechanical, naval architect, or civil) with strong
knowledge and experience in offshore hydrodynamics modeling.
- Good skill in geometry modeling and grid generation for complex geometry.
− Work independently in modeling, algorithm design and programming implementation.
- Knowledge and skill in parallel computing is desired.
− Experience in open source or commercial software for hydrodynamic application.
− Good communication skills and strong team working capability.
− Strong passion in engaging with industry applications.
− Reliable, responsible and hard working.
