Qualification: 
•	Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•	G.P.A > 3.2

Desirable Experience:
•	2~3 years with +1 year internship with engineering firm or related work
•       Must be a US national or a green card holder (permanent resident alien) 
experience
•	Familiarity with CFD theory and software (particularly ANSYS/CFX)
•	CFD experience with complex applications such as combustion and non-air
•	CAD Modeling with Pro/E, or other industry software
•	Microsoft office and MATLAB
•	Leadership (Self motivated)
•	Systems design 

                                
Job Description:
Applicant will initially support turbine and energy systems design engineers for 
power industry applications such as gas turbines, coal and oil fired power 
plants. They will be involved with utilizing CFD methods and tools to model 
power systems and related equipment.

Duties may include:
       • System design related activities:
            -	Determine the required performance of various auxiliaries 
systems based on GT size.
            -	Design systems that incorporate
o	appropriate performance margins
o	System safety and reliability
o	Proper control from the auxiliaries and GT standpoints
            -	Develop and/or utilize analysis tools to size and simulate 
system performance 
            -	Determine:
o	Appropriate modeling domain
o	Optimal convergence
o	Interpretation and presentation of solutions
           -	work from and create P&ID’s
       •CFD related activities 
           -	Build CAD models of combustors, burners, boilers, etc
           -	Create CFD mesh of fluid domains
           -	Use ANSYS CFX to generate and solve models that include fluid 
flow, combustion and heat transfer
