The Multi-scale Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (MFDL) and the Various Environment
Interaction Research Center (VEIReC) at Yonsei University, Korea is looking for
a qualified CFD researcher in the area of emulsion interfacial rheology.
Researchers who have strong publication records with lattice Boltzmann method
(LBM) and/or molecular dynamics (MD) simulations are encouraged to apply. A
brief description of the project is
"The objective of this study is to control the visco-elasticity of the
emulsions by manipulating the interfacial nano-roughness(wrinkles) of the
droplets. In this study, we will control the interfacial roughness by varying
the external force near the droplet interface. A parametric study of the effect
of external forces on the interfacial roughness of droplet, along with the
fundamental understanding of relationship between the interfacial roughness and
interfacial viscosity; and their effect on the rheology of emulsions will be
investigated."
Research Duration: 1 year and possible extension
Monthly Stipend: $2,500 plus medical insurances
Applicants from below countries will be regarded mostly for open position.
Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, India

Please email the applicant's CV (including educational background, publication
lists) and a brief research proposal in emulsion interfacial rheology to Prof.
Lee.
