The position is suitable for people with experience from mathematical modelling
of release and dispersion phenomena, such as multiphase flow, source term
modelling, Lagrangian particle tracking, atmospheric dispersion, dense gas
dispersion, etc. Experience from software development and computational fluid
dynamics (CFD) is an advantage.

Job description:
- Implementing, validating and documenting models for simulating release and
dispersion scenarios in the CFD code FLACS
- Project proposals and project management
- Documentation, support and training related to dispersion
- Dissemination of results: publications and presentations

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of relevant physical phenomena: release and dispersion of toxic,
asphyxiating, radioactive or flammable material in gaseous, liquid or solid form 
- Excellent programming skills in Fortran
- Experience from mathematical modelling and software development
- Developer and user of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software
- Experience from project management and team work
