Applications CFD Team Manager--Internal Combustion Engines

Convergent Science has been providing CFD consulting services to the automotive
and engine industries for over 14 years. More recently, Convergent Science has
developed a software package, called CONVERGE, that is a general CFD code
ideally suited for internal combustion engine simulations. Convergent Science is
a rapidly growing company and has doubled in size in the last 1.5 years. 

Convergent Science is seeking a full-time engineer in Middleton, Wisconsin to
manage our growing applications/support team. This team provides support,
training, and consulting services for our clients. Client on-site visits will be
required and therefore the interested applicant must be willing to travel. In
addition to the technical knowledge required for this position, applicants
should be organized, outgoing, creative and highly motivated.

The Team Manager supervises our group of IC Engine applications engineers. This
includes helping team members with their projects as well as maintaining
deadlines and quality of all projects. The Team Manager will also be responsible
for his or her own projects.       

Requirements:

1) M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering or related field.
2) 5+ years of industry CFD (preferably IC Engine-related)
3) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4) Knowledge of internal combustion engine simulations.
5) Must be willing to travel. 
6) Proficiency in Japanese, German or French is a plus.
7) Management experience is a plus

The salary range for this position is $100-150K per year, depending on
experience and qualifications.
