mechanical engineering. As a strategic development partner for Siemens PLM 
Software Inc., we author and market a variety of software products for heat 
transfer, fluid flow and structural simulation, used by customers around the 
world. To support our continued growth in our NX Flow, NX Advanced Flow, and NX 
Electronics Systems Cooling products, we’re looking for talented, motivated and 
creative individuals to join our team in Montreal, Canada.

We have an immediate opening for a Computational Fluid Dynamics developer.  
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Design and implement new physical models, boundary conditions and numerical 
methods in our CFD solver;
• Positively contribute to software architectural development through 
collaboration within a team of CFD solver developers;
• Perform software maintenance and troubleshooting in support of industry users 
of our CFD software.


• A PhD degree in the field of CFD, or equivalent work experience;
• Strong software design/programming skills, including object-oriented C++ 
• A broad experience in the development of CFD methods and codes:  this should 
include spatial and time discretization techniques, implementation of 
boundary/interface conditions, linear solvers, turbulence modeling, and 
additional physics modeling.
• In particular, experience with fully-coupled pressure velocity coupling 
methods and control volume finite element methods (CVFEM) is highly desired.
• Experience with parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP, etc.), including dynamic 
load balancing.
• A working knowledge of how CFD is typically applied over a wide range of 
industries, particularly those requiring thermal analysis.

Applicants with PhD, post-doc and industry experience will be considered.  
Senior and intermediate level applicants are welcome.
