Links to Links
These are WWW sites that collect links to information related to CFD. There
are very few current and complete CFD link collections available today. Frankly
speaking, you will not find anything that comes close to CFD Online. If you
are looking for something and you can't find it in CFD Online it is probably
better to try one of the general purpose search engines like
Google,
alltheweb.com,
Yahoo or
MetaCrawler instead.
- Computational Gasdynamics, Links
- A collection of links maintained by Culbert B. Laney as a part of the web
site for his book Computational
Gasdynamics. Includes an interesting list of CFD experts. Dr. Laney maintained
his site actively up until about 2002, but in the last years updates have
been more sporadic. It is still one of the best CFD sites on the net though.
- ERCOFTAC NEXUS
- A large portal to fluid dynamics resources on the net. The main focus is
on providing a wide range of fluid-dynamics databases. They also offer a
free job-advertising service for experimental and theoretical fluid dynamics.
The site includes links to other database resources and related publications.
Highly recommended!
- Fluid Dynamics, Yahoo
- Not very exiting, but it is growing slowly year after year. Has links to
events, projects, institutes and more. Many links are outdated though. Yahoo!
isn't what it once used to be.
- CFD @ TenLinks.com
- A small collection of high-quality CFD links. TenLinks is a very nice site
which often helps you to find the ten best sites in a certain subject area.
Check it out.
- dmoz, Computational Fluid Dynamics
- A new and growing collection of CFD links. There is also a Fluid
Mechanics and Dynamics section which might be of interest.
- eFluids.com
- A web-portal for fluid-dynamics. Based on the old "Fluid Dynamics
Links" site
at Princeton. Now also includes a Who's who directory, a headlines section
and an event calendar.
- Computational Fluid Dynamics by Salih
- A bunch of interesting sections on CFD, including many links. Worth a visit.
- CFD Links by Praveen Chandrashekar
- A few well selected up-to-date links. Worth a visit.
- Fluid Mechanics @ OneSmartClick.Com
- Many good links to fluid mechanics resources, including several nice online
calculators.
- Internet AeroLinks
- A collection of links related to aero... - recommended !
- CFD Links, Adaptive Research
- A collection of CFD links, includes general links, applications, database,
mesh generation info and newsgroups.
- CFD links, Physics Guide, about.com
- The fluid dynamics section of the physics guide has some nice links, although
it is not very complete.
- Lycos, Fluid Mechanics and Dynamics
- Has a small number of CFD links. Most links work and have descriptions.
- Fluid & Solid Mechanics Related Web Pages, AeroLinks
- A section of the well known web site "Internet Aerospace Links".
Has been on the net since 1994 and it is worth a look. It is till updated,
although a bit sporadically.

Ukraine and Russia
- A large collection of CFD information focused on Ukraine and Russia.
- CFD WWW Home Pages List
- A list of homepages related to CFD compiled by Robert Chong several years
ago. It is hopelessly outdated by now.
- Fluid Flow Links, University of Alberta, Canada
- A few links related to fluid flow and CFD.
- CFD, Mathematics and Related Software, Cornell
- Small but Nice. Oriented toward Finite Elements and Numerics.
- Fluid Dynamics, Galaxy
- Just a few links and it's not growing very fast.
