The kinematic viscosity, $\nu$, is defined by:

$\nu \equiv \frac{\mu}{\rho}$

Where $\mu$ is the dynamic viscosity and $\rho$ is the density.

The SI unit of the kinematic viscosity is $\frac{m^2}{s}$.
