[Violent Flows 2012] 2nd international conference on Violent Flows (VF2012) - Sept. 25-27, 2012 - Nantes, France
This conference will gather research scientists expertise in the field of violent interface hydrodynamic flows, so as to share and assess progress made in the field since the 1st edition held in Fukuoka in 2007. The latest achievements in research on strongly nonlinear hydrodynamics in all its aspects will be discussed. The latter include experimental and physical modeling up to advanced numerical simulation with an emphasis on emerging immersive/interactive simulation techniques of these flows.
Date: September 25, 2012 - September 27, 2012

Description:

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to
announce the 2nd international conference on Violent Flows (VF2012), to be held at Ecole Centrale Nantes (Nantes, France) on September 25-27, 2012.

This conference intends to gather research scientists expertise in the field of violent interface hydrodynamic flows, so as to share and assess progress made in the field since the first edition of Fukuoka five years ago.
The organizing committee is willing to provide with this Conference a rich and friendly forum for discussing the latest achievements and stimulating further progress in research on strongly nonlinear hydrodynamics in all its aspects. The latter include experimental and physical modeling up to advanced numerical simulation with an emphasis on emerging immersive/interactive simulation techniques of these flows.

Main deadlines are:
  * May 10th: abstract submission (1 page with 1 illustrative result)
  * June 10th: announcement of selected abstract
  * July 10th: full paper submission (8 pages)

Conference leaflet, author instructions, registration, venue, and additional information can be found at:

Hoping to see you in Nantes in September,

Best regards,
