Description:

INTRODUCTION

CMEM 2003 is the eleventh international conference in this well established series on computational methods and experimental measurements. These successful meetings provide a unique forum for the review of the latest work on the interaction between computational methods and experimental measurements.

Whilst computer models have been increasingly successful in simulating an increasing range of engineering problems, it is still essential that advances in these models are validated and verified against experiment.

Experimental measurements are themselves conditioned to the requirements of the computational models. Hence it is important that scientists working on experiments communicate with researchers developing computer codes, as well as those carrying out measurements on prototypes. The orderly and progressive concurrent development of all these fields is essential for the progress of engineering sciences.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Researchers and scientists involved in the development of computational methods and experimental techniques..

BENEFITS TO YOU

• Keep up-to-date on the latest advances in the field.
• Present your research within a unique forum.
• Collaborate with experts from around the world.
• Immediate publication of your research, if your paper is accepted. The conference book is distributed at the time of Registration.
• Your research work will be publicised internationally.

LOCATION

The conference will be held in Kassandra, Halkidiki. Kassandra is the most western peninsula of Halkidiki, displaying many cultural and tourist features. With its beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forested areas, Kassandra has much to offer. The peninsula is filled with many important monuments, castles, monasteries and old churches as well as the internationally renown red stone caves, "Kokines Petres". The area also has some of the finest beaches on the Aegean with plenty of superb water-sports on offer.
