Description:

ISimQ invites you to ISimT-17, its second annual Symposium
on Innovative Simulations in Turbomachinery, on 20 and 21
November 2017 in Rottach-Egern at lake Tegernsee, Germany

The symposium stands for a lively and creative exchange on
innovative turbomachinery simulation technology through
dialogue with experts and peers. There will be
presentations from all areas of turbomachinery: pumps,
water turbines, fans, propellers, compressors, gas, steam
and wind turbines. As an attendee you will benefit from
exposure to latest simulation technology, creative
applications of existing simulation tools, as well as time
to brainstorm with a like-minded group. Successes, as well
as challenges, are welcomed and encouraged for discussion.

ISimT-17 will commence on 20 November 2017, 13:00 h, with
technical presentations by attendees. The 2017 keynote
speakers are by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Seume (Leibniz
Universität Hannover) on “Using CFD to Improve the Yield
of Experiments”, Dirk Nürnberger (Siemens) on “Experiences
on using High-Fidelity CFD for Gas Turbine Design related
in Industrial Environment” and Georg Scheuerer (ISimQ) on
“Quantification of Numerical Errors and Uncertainties in
Turbomachinery Simulations”. The first day will close with
a Symposium dinner.
