Vehicle Thermal Management Course, April 2002, US

CD adapco Group will be holding a 3-day interactive course on Vehicle Thermal Management at the Plymouth, Michigan facility on April 8-10, 2002. The course is intended for engineers who have a need to perform complete vehicle underhood thermal management and passenger comfort studies.

The CFD modeling course will cover the topics listed below using STAR-CD, the leading automotive CFD code:

* Heat exchanger and fan modeling using the latest features and techniques * Engine compartment analysis including thermal radiation * Passenger comfort including solar radiation * Windshield de-misting and de-icing * Overview on the best meshing and modeling practices
