Firstly we would like to thank all of you who have shown interest in the CD adapco Group's CFD thesis prize. Over the last few weeks we have received several questions regarding this years award. Hopefully most of your questions will be answered by the pints below, but if you still have queries do not hesitate to contact us at: cfdprize@cd.co.uk.
1) We are accepting theses from the global community, however the one page summary must be written in English or French.
2) The prize is meant to stimulate the research and development of CFD, therefore any academic, in-house or commercial CFD software may have been used.
3) There are currently no plans to award a prize for undergraduate study.
4) We plan to offer a CFD thesis prize each year, however we may vary the nature and value of the prize from year to year.
