Ansys - Fluent Merger Delayed due to Antitrust Issues

Ansys has announced that they will withdraw its first filing with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) concerning the acquisition of Fluent Inc. This follows after informal discussions with the FTC. Apparantly the FTC need more time to review the antitrust implications of a merger between Ansys and Fluent. Ansys has refiled the pre-merger notification to the FTC and feedback from the FTC are expected before the end of April.
