CFX, a division of AEA Technology plc today announced that it has started a porting program for its flagship Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) product, CFX-5, to HP’s Intel Itanium chip running HP-UX 11i. Commercial release of native IA-64 binaries is expected mid-2002.
