Agenda Announced for the First ‘International Aerospace CFD Conference’ (IACC), 18-19 June, Paris, France

STRONG PRELIMINARY AGENDA ANNOUNCED FOR THE FIRST ‘INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE CFD CONFERENCE’ (IACC), 18 – 19 JUNE, PARIS, FRANCE

ANSYS Inc. (Nasdaq: ANSS), a global innovator of simulation software and technologies designed to optimize product development processes, today announced a strong preliminary agenda (see link below) for the first ‘International Aerospace CFD Conference’ (IACC), to be held on 18 – 19 June in Paris. The list of presentations from across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa, highlights the status of the IACC as one of the largest forums worldwide for the aerospace and defense CFD community.

An unprecedented number and breadth of papers, covering aerospace and marine applications in the commercial and defense sectors, is planned with over 50 presentations including five plenary sessions and 10 subject areas: aerodynamics; cryogenics; installations; missiles; multiphysics; naval; nozzles; optimization, coupling and automation; preprocessing and visualisation; turbomachinery. Some of the biggest companies in aerospace and defense will be sharing their knowledge and expertise including General Electric Aviation, USA; Qinetiq, UK; the Ministry of Defence, India; Pratt and Whitney, Canada; EADS Airbus, Germany; SINMEC, Brazil; CNES, France; Honeywell, USA; INTA, Spain; L’Air Liquide, France; Alenia Spazio, Italy; Siemens Power Generation, USA; Politecnico di Milano and Aermacchi, Italy; and the French and US Navies.
