The optical media device industry is extremely challenging. Demand is high and customers expect lower prices and more miniaturization. This places greater importance on meeting device operational temperature requirements to ensure hardware durability. The Panasonic Corporation, well known for its audio visual products, uses Cradle SC/Tetra CFD software to perform thermal analyses of its optical drives during product development.
