The Conference aims at creating an active and stimulating forum where current research results and technical advances can be shared and the development of new systems for laboratory use, field testing and industrial application can be promoted. Experts in vibration and acoustics, manufacturers and authorities in the field of optical and non- invasive instrumentation and industrial users of such measurement devices will present their activities and innovative approaches to vibration measurements.

INVITED LECTURES Invited lectures from recognised authorities in the field of Vibration Measurements by Laser Techniques are foreseen.

MEETINGS FOR SCIENTIFIC CO-OPERATION On the day of the Short Course, June 17, sessions will be organised for Conference participants to discuss possible scientific co-operations amongst them. Interested people who wish to suggest possible themes for discussion can contact the Conference Secretariat.

EXHIBITION An exhibition is planned to enable participating organizations to bring their products directly to the attention of potential customers. Leading manufacturers of laser vibrometer systems, holographic equipment and modal and noise analysis systems will exhibit. Additional information can be obtained by returning the Pre-Registration Form.

SHORT COURSE A one-day tutorial course will be held the day before the Conference in order to provide fundamentals of Laser Techniques for Vibration Measurements and to offer hands-on experience on the most advanced instrumentation. Additional information will be provided upon request.
