Hello.
I'm a new user of Ansa and I would like to ask help to group. I have an assembly with many parts. How could I separate each component and rename each part? Can I export each meshed part? Thanks. |

Dear Fabrizio,
I understand that you have several unconnected components, all belonging to the same Property or PID as we say in ANSA. If this is the case, you should use the function Isolate>Connectivity ANSA will open a list of all the unconnected regions and with right click you can select them all and Assign a New PID to each one. About you second question "can I export each meshed part?" Do you mean export separate mesh files for each Property? Use the UserDefinedFunction PIDToFile Hope this helps Vangelis |
