Dear friends,
I have a geometry, where some areas are very narrow and this causes problems for meshing and boundary layers. Is there a function in ANSA that closes the small distance in these areas into just a point or something |

Hi,
I think there is no way to do this. We need ANSA for example to remove this areas. It's very simple, but sometimes a bit time is needed. I use Hot Points Project/Insert/Parametrical, Face Cut and Coons. (of course also Delete) BR Levente |

Any narrow Faces in ANSA can be dealt at Mesh level by Joining Perimeters and removing them leaving merged Faces as larger Macro Areas.
In fact this can be done automatically in ANSA. I suggest you have a look at the CFD Tutorial The Basics for CFD |
