In my experience, most tasks in ANSA (e.g. volume meshing) only utilize one core. Is this a problem with ANSA (v. 18.0.1), or perhaps with my settings?

I assume this is the problem with ansa. There are some settings now to use more no. of cores. But I am not seeing ansa using that efficiently.
@vangelis can give the exact answer. |

ANSA uses multiple cores by default for specific tasks like
- Surface meshing on geometry - Layers generation in order to see this you need to be meshing a large model as it will not happen if you mesh a small model You can control the number of cores that ANSA uses by ansa64.sh -np 12 By default ANSA will use all cores Vangelis |
