Handling "large" models in ANSA

Good morning,
I've started doing some meshing of 3D scan files in ANSA. I'm impressed with some of the features but I notice that after I generate my prisms, only 12M, the whole tool slows down. Any operation from rotate to clicking on topo or even PID or list volumes just crawls. It's so slow. I have checked and I have plenty of memory available and CPU. After I generate my volume Mesh, 120M cells total, it seems to slow to a hault. Again plenty of memory left. Any button clicks require a waiting period. Is this the limit of what ANSA can handle? Is it really not meant to handle big meshes? |
