OpenFOAM cyclic boundary condition

Howdy Folks:

I have a simple box, no moving / rotating boundaries. The E-W, and N-S boundaries are assigned as two corresponding pairs of cyclic boundary. I would like to mesh this in ANSA (only) and have the rest of my case set up manually in OpenFOAM.

1) Do I have to assign the cyclic boundary conditions in ANSA, or can I leave this out in my OF setup?

2) If the answer of 1 is "yes", what exactly is "region 1" in "region 2" in the property card when I define the PID?

2a) I defined two SETs based on the corresponding PIDs. I receive an error "Recursive definition" in either of the regions. I don't know why.

I went through the Magnum Opus (the ANSA complete user guide) and other relevant documentation but I don't quite understand how I could split a PID into two SETs. My understanding is to have the two cyclic BC pairs assigned to the same PID, but as different SETs, which will be assigned to the corresponding regions (1 and 2). Is this correct?

Thanks in advance, Gerry.
