Why does ANSA's mesh consume an exaggerated memory in fluent

Hello everyone
I'm not sure what I'm doing here but for the same geometry and same number of elements, the mesh created by ANSA takes much longer to calculate on fluent than the mesh created by ANSYS meshing. Is that normal? Also, and more importantly, when I enable coupled solver in fluent, ANSA's mesh causes it to crash, claiming I don't have enough memory (32Gb for 18 thousand elements only) And for the same mesh created using ansys it runs smoothly! Is there anything I should watch out for or just they are not compatible? Thank you |
