Meshing cylinder with curved bottom surface and cylindricla sparger in it

Hello

As a part of summer project I am trying to mesh a mixing tank geometry with cyluindrical sparger at the bottom.

I want to use hexa mesh to mesh sparger and the remaining tank. I tried using blocking but the bottom blocking edges are not properly getting mapped on the spherical surface. Moreover, the generation of O-grid also doesn't give satisfactory mesh.

Attached is the image with distorted mesh at the bottom.
Can someone help me in this?

Thanks

Create another ogrid. I believe this is the one the ANSYS meshing workshop model.

Ohh, I am sorry - I should have mentioned that I am using ICEM CFD and new to software (and meshing as well). And ironically, since there are so many edges at the bottom portion that the blocking geometry gets distorted while snapping vertices. Is there any better strategy to map the bottom surface?

Also, can you explain what do you mean by "creating new grid"

Thanks

I am saying create O-grid inside the cylinder. Just go to split block and select o-block
