Body of Influence
Hi everyone
I am currently meshing a rectangular box which is modelled inside a wind tunnel using CFX. So far, I have inserted inflation (on floor and building faces) and face sizing within a sphere of influence, as shown in the picture in this link http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/4901/spherei.jpg As a result, my mesh looks like this: http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/8400/meshfar.jpg A closer look: http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/7814/meshcloseup.jpg And after I had put in basic setup, this is what my results look like: http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/5512/resultstr.jpg I believe that by having a better body of influence, I will be able to 'capture' better results. I created a longitudinal rectangular box as a body of influence which is what I did here: http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/9849/influencer.jpg However, I am not sure how to mesh the body of influence properly I hope I had made my situation clear enough. :) Can anyone show me how to do it? Thanks! Muhammad |

:) P.S. I think u'd be better off having 2 or even 3 volume boxes for more precise control over the growth, one inside the other and then limit the element size around the the obstruction to the smallest element size, then in the 2nd body of influence you can go 50 % up, and in the third another 50 % up.. because if you refine this whole body of influence u've sketched your element count is going to go up DRASTICALLY. Good luck. |
Got it. cheers! :)
