can you see it as one solid part alone in the tree ? if so, do a body operation a with a delete feature. if not try to draw, extrude and slice material feature. to be very precise , as i'm more familiar with pro/e, i just export my geometry to pro/e, draw, extrude, and import it back to design modeler
