Hello,

I am attempting to mesh a hollow cylinder with a helical pattern etched along the outer wall. I would like to use hexahedral elements along the length of the pipe.

I am unable to use the standard Sweep Method or the Hex Dominant method. When I attempt to use the hex dominant meshing I receive a message stating that "At least one body selected for the hex dominant meshing has a small normalized volume to surface area ratio."
I have also tried the Multizone Method but this processing freezes the Ansys Meshing software.

I attached a screen shot of the geometry and the desired mesh configuration.

Can someone suggest how I might be able to mesh this geometry?
