Connecting of Blocks

3 Attachment(s)
Hi at all,

i have a fluid channel with some build-in components. Because of the complicated structure I've generate the blocks of the middle section first. After that I've the channels filled in with blocks. And now I've 2 connecting zones and I don't know the right way to connect the blocks together. This zone is located between the cylinder shaped form and the rectangular shaped form. Any hint is welcome!
Additional I can send you the geometry and blocking files (210KB zip).

Thank you very much in advance!

Best Greetings
Frank

Merge vertices....

... This was also my first idea. Unfortunately, I don't know which are the right ones. It's a fu**ing problem of geometry. Sorry, I ponder about it for several days.
Do you have time to take a quick look at the files?

Ok. Send them

You can only merge verts to join the blocks if the topology where the blocking meets is the same...

In other words, if you have an ogrid on one side, you need an ogrid on the other side to merge...

Other wise, just use a non-conformal mesh interface in your solver.
