Dear All,
I am trying to mesh attached geometry. Geometry: I have two curved sections within 1mm gap and made perforations. Gaps between perforations and curved sections are closed by surfaces. Problem: I can make the tetra mesh but when improving it by prism mesh it always stuck. I have selected "cone hole walls" for select parts for prism layers. Can anybody help me to fix this problem? Thank you. |

More explanation:
My requirement is to create perforated cone. I used wall thickness as 1mm and therefore created two surfaces to define walls and grilled holes on there. Then I closed all holes by surfaces. |

recently, i've been using a new approach, going back to designmodeler, and make just a sector of your geometry, 10 degree or something, go back to icem cfd. using hexa or tetra, mesh it, it will take less time either ways
