Hi,

is there a possibility to snap the inner edge of the first prism layer to the curve from where it's grown in ICEM 14? So the inner edge would be a curve instead of a line.

Thanks,
Attila

Unfortunately it's not working. The edges of the tetras/extruded prisms are not snapped to the geometry at all.

Ludvik is on a distinguished road
For CFD: Edit Mesh > Split Mesh > Split edges > Selected > (Propagate + Project) ON
For FEM: Edit Mesh > Convert Mesh Type > Create Mid Side Nodes > (Project to Geometry + Check's) ON

Thanks but it just splits the edge not snaps to the curve, e.g. i'm still getting line edge not circular. Anyway, using this feature ends up in non-manifold vertices.

Thank you,
Attila
