Part for Inlet or Outlet

I met a problem about Part for Inlet or Outlet using ICEM. I create a surface called Inlet and produce a Part of this Inlet based on the surface. After meshing, I import the mesh in CFX-Pre, but there is no this Inlet option in CFX-Pre, there are only all kinds of Walls option.
Who could help me deal with this problem? I guess whether I need select the 4 curves of the Inlet surface as the Part also (except the surface of Inlet)?

Many thanks in advance!

is your geometry in 3d or 2d ? did you use blocking, make sure associations are done. i usually create parts first then start meshing. Also may be this post can help solve the problem:

3d. I don't use blocking. It is an unstructured mesh. Yes, I also create parts first then start meshing.

I guess whether I need select the 4 curves of the Inlet surface as the Part also (except the surface of Inlet)? I only create a Surface called Inlet and produce a Part of this Inlet based on the surface not including 4 curves of the Surface.

Many thanks!

No Inlet option, but wall only?
Did you define a new boundary, and select the target "Inlet" surface as the inelt? 2D mesh, line element, is not needed to define a boundary, surface is enough.

Yes, only walls. For "Did you define a new boundary, and select the target "Inlet" surface as the inlet?" You mean in CFX-Pre?
However, I mean I only create a Surface as Inlet and then produce a Part called/as Inlet based on the surface in ICEM not in CFX-Pre.

Actually, I find the solution. Since my Body doesn't include the whole space. So we can't see Inlet option in CFX-Pre.

Many thanks also:)!
