hello,

i have got a problem in meshing a ship of about 10 million meshes. the properties of my computer are:

processor: x5650 @ 2.67GHz 2.66GHz (2 processors)
installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB

gambit persists saying "out of memory". i am aware that i could divide the geometry but i think my computer is enough to mesh the ship. can anybody help with this?

thanks in advance.

Try to check the memory load ("taskmgr" on Windows, "top" on Linux) while meshing till the crash. How much memory is used when GAMBIT throws the error? Maybe, really all memory (16 Gb) or some part (quarter, half?)
What is your OS?
If Linux, [URL="http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/fluent/65975-gambit-crashed.html"]this link may help you/URL].
