everdimension is on a distinguished road
So here is the simple geometry i've been practicing on:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55240438/ima..._innergeom.png

Here is what i get using one o-grid split:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/55240438/im...icem_inner.png

And here is what happens when i try adding another o-grid to the inner channel with the offset factor less than or equal to 0.5:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/55240438/im...m_innerbug.png

If i use higher offset value then it works fine.
So why is this happening??..
The project is attached.

i think the problem is related to associations. i couldn't read your project. geometry neither. did you use icem 14 ? can you upload it again please. thank you

I get an error : Can't read surface model when i try to open the tin file

As Ali said, it was just an error of association, I just associated your edges (of your fluid inner pipe and at the symmetry plane) to the curves and recomputed the pre-mesh and it worked fine.

Now you can just change the spacing near your boundaries. You should also have a look at the T-pipe junction topic .

I'm using the V14 and had no problem to open his file. Maybe you can export the project in a way that older versions of ICEM could read it, but I'm not aware of an eventual procedure.

So all you did was associate the three inner block edges to the inner symmetry curve, right? Thanks, i did not even think they needed to be associated. But it worked! Still it is a strange behavior.

Thanks again!

Yes, I am using version 14 as well.

Yes, I just associate the edges you didn't associate (to the symmetry curve). Don't forget that all association matters, and especially in your case where your bayonet-exchange model will need several C-grids inside each other.
