Hey guys,

(got Ansys workbench 14)

i would like to make 1 Body sperated in some parts (in example 2).
I extruded 2 sketches and made them frozen. Then i used Form new Part. So both parts should be one. I'll do some stuff with fluent after and fluent should interpret this as 1 Body.

I've done this cause i want to use the Surface of the smaller square as an inlet. Futhermore i want to have more cells in the smaller square.

Hope this way is corret? Or are the other better soultions to do this?

Hope i made this clear . Already read so much Manuals and searched at google but didnt found something usefull )

Nevermind got new Problem:
I got 2 two cubes/Parts of my Bodiy and make them as fluid for my fluent. The smaller cube getting his own interior and his own walls, which i dont want cause both cubes should be handled as one. Any help?
If i make them both as solid, i just get 1 wall and interior.... but i want fluids.. what exactly change at all if i change fluid/solid in design modeler?

Thanks guys

Sorry, not sure what your revised question is asking for...

If you want two fluid zones in one multi-body part, the mesher will make sure the mesh is conformal, but it will still have an interface surface between the two zones.

Hey ok, forgot all things i said.

made new example and i hope this will make it clear:

what i've done:

as you can see iam getting 2 cell zone conditions, which i dont want - i want 1. The body i created should be treated as 1 body. Same with the walls (2 walls , 3 interiors).

Can someone help?
Thanks!!

i already managed to do this but cant reproduce..
