Hi All,

I'm an Doctorant Student working on a research project that investigates heat transfer within geothermal basket heat exchanger.I'm new to ANSYS Meshing.

The geometry was made using AutoDesk Inventor 2015, and was then imported into ANSYS fluent 2015. the geometry is a heat exchanger having a conic helicoidal shape called basket, this basket is buried in ground presented as a cylindrical domain(see attached files).
ANSYS Meshing take a long time and fail to meshvolumes.I'm on a 2.5GHz LAPTOP with 4GB of RAM
how to fix this error: The following faces are high order NURBS with many knots. These types of surfaces may lead to longer meshing times. If meshing time is long, changing your smoothing to low may help improve the meshing speed.

Any help would be vastly appreciated. If it helps, I can also attach the geometry in question in whatever file format is desired.

Thanks!
