Merge Surface Body and Solid Body

Hi,

Is there a way to merge a surface body and a solid body using the tools in Design Modeler?

Thanks in advance.

use enclosure feature with parts merge option yes

you can do that by using enclosure option and then before creating the enclosure selecting the merge part option as yes. let me know if problem is resolved.

found your thread, because want to join two or more Surfaces in DesignModeler.
freeze is defenetly good, did't really understood why)
my solution was to use create-> Body operation -> type SEW -> and select solids. that work for me:cool:

found it here https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Flu...onfeature.html ctrl+f "sew"

I know it has been a long time, but I would like to know if this is possible (I mean, Merge Surface Body and Solid Body). I have done what nauman55 shared with us but I couldn't get it. And, at the same time, "sew" tool is just for surfaces. So, is DM able to perform this action?
