Symmetric mesh using gambit

Hi,

I am trying to create a symmetric 2D mesh using GAMBIT.

how can i do that?

thanks.

I'm not sure I understand your question... Symmetric? Axisymmetric? Periodic?

Anyway, to model a 2D case you just have to mesh faces in Gambit. Be careful to stay on the XY plane. If you're talking AXI symmetric, then X=0 is the axis of symmetry and your faces have to be in the X>0 region.

There are tutorials on this topic.

Marion.
