Each time you try, you always learn more. I must say, I have learnt (95%) from this forum by solving the problems of CFD-Online fellows with the help/guidance of Simon.

can you share your original geometry (on forum or privately) or some example geometry very similar to your case so that we can try and discuss new blocking strategies.

Far, I cannot share or descibe in detail the geometry (even privately) as it is commerically sensitive.

However, do you recall the generic missile shape you made a topic about (Meshing of complex shape) and due to the 1/4 geometrical symmetry you did the blocking for that? Also, if I remember correctly it had fins near the nose and tail. That can be used but without any symmetry.

If the usual experts could show the recommended blocking for Far's generic missile shape with the cruciform fins (no symmetry planes) - for different types of fin trailing edge shapes (sharp and blunt). Then that would going very far towards what I'm trying to work towards and then I can adapt it from there for my specific case and learn a great deal.
