Hi,
I'm trying to get an O-grid to wrap around some wall-mounted cubes but I cannot get an O-grid to then also continue along the surface wall. The image shows (2D sketch of a 3D geometry) the current O-grids around the cubes (1) and the O-grids around the cubes and surface wall (2) that I'm trying to get. I thought selecting the fluid domain blocks and wall surface would work but clearly not. No combination of blocks and faces that I select will give me what I'm after. The *.tin and *.blk files are attached. Any help is welcomed. Thanks. |

Hi,
That's the same mesh I could get. Where I would like to go from there was not only to wrap C-grids over each cube but to then extend them over the entire surface. Therefore, the refinement in the C-grids to capture the boundary layers on the cubes would also be captured on the ground surface as well. I cannot see your files until tomorrow when I get back to my ICEM computer. |
