Why does my .msh file work on FLUENT but can't be imported into GAMBIT?

I have a .msh file that reads perfectly fine on FLUENT. The same file can't seem to be imported into GAMBIT. GAMBIT gives an error:

Process completed with Error code 256.

On the command prompt, the following messages appears:

Warning: Degenerate line element ####:node0==node1 (0).
...

The #### indicates THOUSANDS of different line element numbers, ranging at least up to line element 3586496.

I created the mesh file using "ScanIP", which has an option to generate a FLUENT .msh file. I presume that the same file should be able to be created in GAMBIT... What's going on here? Is there something that I'm missing? How can I fix it?

You can try to import the cas file into gambit.
