I've just got a new geometry and blocking file and I want to know where the minimum volume mesh is. I want to make it a bit coarser as my computer can't supports such big mesh. When I check the block and want to show the min volume, it doesn't appear. Is there any way that I can get the position of the minimum meshes?

sorry, but i really don't understand what you mean with "minimum mesh".....
please explain it to me. Do you want to coarsen the fine mesh? Or do you want to know your min. volume ratio? what exactely is the point?! |

Yes, there was a defect. When using the histogram for the volume metric, you should be able to click on any column and see the elements in that column displayed on the screen. However, some of the smaller volume columns were not displaying the elements as they should have. This defect has been fixed in 14.5, due out later this year.
In the mean time, I think that you could still display them by selecting the column and then right click to create a subset... Then you can display the subset.

Here is a screen shot to illustrate that it is fixed in 14.5... It also shows the diangostic volume subset in the tree (create this with a right click on the histogram chart)...

What I mean is explained by PSYMN, I just want to know where the smallest mesh is. Thank you for your help all the same.
