Help geometry!!!

Hello!
I'm a complete ICEM newbie (just started learning a week ago) never did any 3d models before or in that case, meshing.
Anyway i have a geometry where the smaller cylinder connected to a cylinder of larger diameter. However, the smallest has a part in the largest. A fluid pass from largest to smallest.
Can anyone tell me how to do this in three dimensional geometry.
I'm working with ICEM-CFD.

Are there any cad-files or do you want to build geometry in ICEM?
do you want to use tetra or hexa?

But besides that, I don't understand what's your point. Does the small cylinder rotate in the larger one?! Do they both rotate? Please define your issue more precisely.

The system is a fluidized bed. Inside there is sand fluidized using air entering the bottom. The bed is closed in its upper part but has a tube that enters the above system whereby the sand leaves the system. This is caused by the high pressure in the system. The tube has a thickness of 5mm. Inside the bed and inside the tube must be defined as a fluid.
I hope to use the Eulerian model for my simulations with Ansys Fluent 14.

Still not sure what you are asking, but it may help you to know that ICEM CFD is a "surface based modeler". This is an old school idea, and most users expect to be working with "bodies" that you need to intersect or do boolean addition or subtraction, etc...

None of that is needed with ICEM CFD. you can create an intersection curve where the tubes meet (geometry => Create/modify curves => Intersection) so that nodes can follow better. You can use those intersection curves to delete the surface that blocks the hole (After creating the intersection curves, run Geometry => Repair => Build Diagnostic topology, then just delete the surface patch. Or you could use Geometry => Create/Modify Surface => Segment by Curve)

Create a material point in the volume (look it up in the help for details) and mesh (hexa or tetra/prism)

am also doing a fluidised bed simulation usin icem -fluent as preprocessor and soler can u provide me the details how did u mesh ur geometry and what parameters did u set for fluent for tis problem because i have no idea how to..can u please help me wid this is my final sem project
