Happy to see your reply. Just one question, what should be the surface between rotating and stationary domains set to? is it interior or interface when selecting BC in ICEM? Thank you in advance! Aziz |

Hello, I know it's an old thread. But I really need a solution to my problem here. I have a geometry of outer stationary cylinder(15 cm) and Inner cylinder containing rotor structure(7.5 cm) at a plane 0.4 cm above from bottom of outer stationary cylinder. I find no problem while defining the interfaces which are (top, bottom and side) but an issue is that when I look for velocity contour in a vertical plane there's a discrete change in velocity at interface. I don't know how can I solve the issue. Is it something related to meshing or setup?
I'm using ANSYS CFX 18.0 looking forward for help. |
