skewed geometry in ICEM from AutoCad 2013

HI,
I am trying to import my 3D CAD model from autocad 2013 to ICEM. It looks all nice in AutoCad but when I imported the iges file into ICEM, it gives me all these skewed shapes. Is this a problem to do with the graphics card on my computer? I've attached the pictures in this post. Please advise. Many thanks in advance.

-try exporting in step file.
-import in designmodeler
-export again in step or just save it in AGDB.
-use workbench reader and open it in icem...
